Margaret M. Zenni (Peggy Simon), 91, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Fall River, Massachusetts, passed on October 8, 2016. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Ferris and Jamily Coury Simon, she was educated in Fall River and was a proud 1942 graduate of BMC Durfee High School.

Mrs. Zenni leaves her devoted husband and constant companion of 59 years, Captain Martin Zenni (USN ret). She was happiest when surrounded by her husband and family, who showered her with love and attention.

She always commented on how "blessed" she was. Peggy prayed daily and was a parishioner of St. Anthony of the Desert Church and a member of the Ladies Guild. Proud of her heritage, she was a member of the Lebanese-American Ladies Auxiliary. She was an Executive Secretary at Newport Finishing Corporation until she became a wife and mother as she raised her children in five states while supporting her husband's military career. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and was an avid dancer, especially at church and family functions.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dr. Martin Zenni and his wife Dr. Elisa Zenni of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Matthew Zenni and his wife Anne-Marie Zenni of Fall River, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Miranda Margaret, Alexander Martin, Madison Mary, Michael William, and her dear nephew William Tucker III. She was the sister of the late Annie Richmany, Michael Simon, Adele Simon, Thomas Simon, Samuel Simon and Alice Tucker and the aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her caretaker, Janet Griswold and Essence Whittle who treated Peggy as a family member. Special thanks to the staff at Ashford Court and Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 9:00AM in St. Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 North Eastern Ave., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday from 5:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101 or to the Durfee Alumni Association, P.O. Box 9656, Fall River, MA 02720. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
